Your first generation

A generation takes about 30 seconds. Here's how to make your first one.

1. Add a clear selfie

Use a well-lit, front-facing photo. Avoid sunglasses, hats, and group shots — the model needs to see your full face. You can replace it later from the profile screen.

2. Pick a style

Browse the feed and tap any look that catches your eye. The style behind it loads automatically, and you'll see a preview of what your version could look like.

3. Tap Generate

Hexx will queue the job and notify you when it's done. Most jobs finish in under a minute.

4. Save or share

We'll let you know when your style is read. Tap the share icon to send it to friends or post to socials. Every saved look stays available, and you can save it to your gallery.

Tip: if a generation doesn't look like you, try a different selfie with cleaner lighting before tweaking the style.
